July 10, 2019

Meeting was called to order by Chairman Mike Holstrom. Others in attendance were Supervisor Kerry Baumgartner, Supervisor Eric Roberts, Clerk Brenda Hildebrand, Treasurer Lori Holmgren, Deb Host, Daryl Enerson, and Jake Holmgren.

Pledge allegiance was recited.

Minutes were read and a motion was made by Baumgartner to accept, seconded by Roberts and carried.

Treasurer’s report was given with a checkbook ending balance of $784,395.75. Roberts made a motion to accept seconded by Baumgartner and carried.

Roberts made a motion to approve and pay claims #4494-4510, and 3 automatic withdrawals. It was seconded by Baumgartner and carried.

Daryl Enerson addressed the board about painting a crosswalk from the campgrounds to the resort on the other side of Eldorado Beach Road. It was approved 2 years ago but nothing has been done so far. Roberts made motion to give Holstrom approval to go ahead with getting it done if it is a reasonable quote. Baumgartner seconded and it was carried.

Deb Host came to the board with concerns about a property dispute between her and the neighbor to the south of her. The board is unable to help with the dispute and suggested she contact a surveyor.

Road Report- The new tractor should be here in September. Repairs to the grader are needed. Larry Krohn asked to get gravel for approaches on his property on Amor township Dr.  We are still waiting on the chloride treatment from Fergus Power Pump. Baumgartner will check with other businesses to get other quotes.

Roberts made a motion to contract LP gas for heating the shop and hall with Lakes Area Cooperative. 2,000 gallons for $1.17/gl. Seconded by Baumgartner and carried.

Brenda Hildebrand gave the park report. Reservations have been down for July. Swimming lessons went well. She asked the board for a budget of $10,000 for the year. Roberts made a motion for $8,000 per year and that any remaining monies be rolled over year after year to be used to make a major purchase if needed. It was seconded by Baumgartner and carried.

With no further business to discuss the meeting was adjourned at 8:13 pm.
