We’re always on the hunt to feed our cravings without overspending. Luckily, many of our favorite fast food joints have been making that just a little bit easier. Between McDonald’s new McValue Platform and Taco Bell’s—not one, but three—value meals, just about all our go-to’s are offering us ways to fill up while saving our pennies.
Wendy’s is among the many following suit, with its recent 2 for $7 deal that debuted last month. With this promo, you have the option of choosing two beloved entrées for just $7, including the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Classic Chicken Sandwich, Dave’s Single cheeseburger, and 10-piece Chicken Nuggets. But you can also get two of each if you prefer to load up on those nuggs.
While all that sounds enticing, Dairy Queen swooped in and completely changed the game. Its brand new meal deal may have the same price as Wendy’s current promotion, but DQ’s has even more food to offer.
What’s Included in Dairy Queen’s $7 Meal Deal

If you’re in the mood for a comforting meal with a sweet treat ending (who isn’t?), Dairy Queen has you covered. The fast food chain recently launched its brand new $7 Meal Deal that includes an entrée, side, drink, and, of course, some ice cream.
For the entrée, you can choose an original cheeseburger—a seasoned beef patty, melted cheese, and pickles on a toasted bun—or crispy chicken strips, made with all-white meat and served with the Hidden Valley ranch sauce for dipping. The meal is rounded out with full-size regular fries and a soft drink.
Naturally, we’re saving the best for last. To complete this promo, you’ll enjoy a classic soft serve sundae topped with your choice of hot fudge, caramel, or strawberry sauce.
The $7 Meal Deal is available every day at participating DQ locations nationwide. To take advantage of this offering, all you need to do is order through the DQ App or start an order online so it is ready for when you hit up your local restaurant.
