We’re only a few days into March and already we’ve seen quite a few amazing, new spring menus dropping. From Dunkin’s returning Dunkalatte to Starbucks’ new Iced Cherry Chai and Buffalo Wild Wings’ savory, loaded sandwiches perfect for March Madness, we have plenty of menu items to try this spring—and, the season hasn’t even officially sprung yet.
Now, Chick-fil-A announced its springtime menu—and it features a fan-loved sandwich that we haven’t seen in years.
Beginning March 17—just a few days before the official first day of spring—Chick-fil-A is releasing its new seasonal menu, which features the returning Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich and the all-new Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages.

Chick-fil-A is bringing its Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich back for the first time in three years—and this time, it’s available in three different ways. You can order the sandwich with an original, spicy, or classic grilled chicken patty for the first time ever.
In addition to your choice of chicken, the sandwich is topped with bacon coated in a brown sugar and black pepper blend, Colby-Jack cheese, lettuce, and smoky barbecue sauce on a toasted sweet yeast bun.
The sandwich was last seen in 2022, and when it departed menus, fans were heartbroken.
“A few months ago I encountered the ‘Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich’ at my local Chick-fil-A and it was the best sandwich I’ve ever had from there. Unfortunately, I was only able to get it one other time before it vanished from all the stores in my area. I miss that sandwich dearly,” a customer wrote on Reddit.
Well, now’s the chance to try the sandwich again. However, it will once again only be available for a limited time, so you’ll want to hit the drive-thru ASAP.
The returning sandwich is joined by Chick-fil-A’s newest lineup of beverages made with tropical dragonfruit and sweet pineapple flavors. The new Pineapple Dragonfruit drinks will be sold as traditional lemonade (both regular and diet); iced tea; Chick-fil-A’s signature iced-tea-lemonade mix, Sunjoy; and Frosted Lemonade (both regular and diet) mixed with the chain’s Icedream dessert.
Chick-fil-A’s new spring-inspired fruity beverages are also only on a limited run, so if you want to try all four varieties before you choose a favorite, you’d better start soon.
