Unsurprisingly, LongHorn Steakhouse has been beloved for more than 40 years thanks to its steak—a steak so tasty it can only be called “Legendary.” But, like every great steakhouse, LongHorn doesn’t only offer ribeyes, filets, and sirloins to its customers.

Since perfecting its steak, LongHorn has moved on to more meat and seafood options that have become nearly as popular as the T-Bone itself. One menu item in particular, which only pops up seasonally, has quite a cult following: LongHorn’s Lamb Chops.

LongHorn introduced its bone-in Lamb Chops more than a decade ago as a springtime menu item—since many people associate lamb with Easter and the meat is more widely available beginning in early March. As of March 3, LongHorn’s Grilled Lamb Chops are back on the menu for a limited time.

The chops have seen a few preparations over the years, but today they’re fire-grilled to the chef-suggested medium temperature and served coated in a roasted tomato garlic herb sauce over a bed of mashed potatoes and wilted spinach.

Despite the Lamb Chops’ long-standing availability and position as a fan favorite, customers are still discovering new ways to enjoy the menu item. In 2024, TikTokers realized that you could order the chops with a Parmesan Crust and the “hack” quickly became a viral sensation.

LongHorn Steakhouse introduced its Parmesan Crust, which features a Parmesan cheese spread made with provolone, ranch, herbs, and Parmesan breadcrumbs, in 2010 as an addition to its steaks. However, you’ve always been able to add the signature Parmesan Crust to any menu item—including the Lamb Chops.

This year, LongHorn Steakhouse is making sure everyone knows that Parmesan-crusted Lamb Chops aren’t some "secret menu" hack that the internet discovered, but rather an option available at all 580+ restaurants across the country.

But, whether you order your lamb smothered in herby cheese and ranch or plain, you’ll want to get them soon because there’s no telling how long LongHorn Steakhouse will keep its beloved Lamb Chops on the menu.
