Is there anything more nostalgic than a cookie—especially if it’s chocolate chip? Maybe it’s because this is one of the first sweets I remember biting into that split my world wide open: it was crispy, chewy, and melty, all at the same time. Pools of slightly bitter chocolate gave contrast to the sweetness, introducing dimensions that my unseasoned tastebuds hadn’t yet experienced anywhere else.

Of course, I’m not ruling out that what I felt was likely the rush of sugar flooding my body, but that’s not the point. Cookies are one of the first sweet snacks we try as kids, and they show up everywhere from school bake sales to picnics, game nights, holiday parties, and more.

When Pillsbury, the brand behind so many of our favorite ready-to-bake delights, combined its sugar cookies with a breakfast cereal loved by generations, the result was a nostalgia-drenched treat that tugged at our inner child in a way we couldn’t ignore. One fan called it “life-changing”—and it’s now back in stores.

Pillsbury Lucky Charms Sugar Cookies Are Back

Pillsbury just announced its fan-favorite Lucky Charms Sugar Cookies are returning to stores nationwide. The marshmallow-studded bakes feature a rich and buttery cookie dough, complete with all our favorite Lucky Charms marshmallows, like hearts, stars, horseshoes, clovers, and blue moons.

It's a nostalgic trip that fans have been loving since the cookies' initial release in 2019. They've continuously begged the brand to make them a year-round product every time they are pulled from shelves.

“Please keep these forever. I love them more than anything in life,” pleaded a reviewer on Pillsbury’s website.

Unlike the original drop, Pillsbury has since updated the recipe so you can safely consume the cookie dough raw. That means you can enjoy these even if you don’t have the patience to wait for the oven to preheat.

"These cookies are the most delicious I have ever tasted. If they are removed from shelves, I will be very sad! I check for them every time I go to the grocery store. Baked or raw, these are amazing," a reviewer wrote.

"Are these the best cookies out there? They have a good argument for the title," added another shopper. "Sugar cookies aren’t typically my thing, but these are amazing. Please do not discontinue at any time."

I'm sorry to break it to you, but the Lucky Charms cookies are still a limited-time offering. The good news is that they are on store shelves right now. To find the nearest location where you can buy them from, visit the Pillsbury website.

We don't know how long these will be available for, but if you're in the mood for a magically delicious throwback, then it's not a bad idea to pick up a pack or two while you can.
