Picture this: It’s a beautiful day and you’re outdoors with the grill going and a cold drink in your hand. Burgers, dogs, whatever you have cooking, are all just about ready to be placed on buns and devoured—but you’re missing one thing. The perfect potato chip to serve with it.

Of course, they also work as a snack on their own. From Korean-Style Sweet & Spicy Chili potato chips to All Dressed, which mixes popular flavors like salt and vinegar and sour cream into one, Ruffles offers all sorts of flavors to pair with our meals or enjoy as an afternoon nibble.

However, there was one particular ridged chip we craved with something hot off the grill, it’s just that it wasn’t always around when we wanted it. That is, until now. Ruffles is bringing back our chip of choice for our grilling needs and now we can enjoy it year round.

Ruffles fans, get ready to enjoy that beloved smoky barbecue flavor any time of the year with the return of Smokehouse BBQ chips. These fan-favorite ridged crisps are a little tangy, a little sweet, and have a smoky taste that gives off fun, cooking-in-the-backyard vibes.

According to a social post, these chips were around several years ago before disappearing, coming back, and leaving all over again. Once a seasonal flavor, the Smokehouse BBQ chip is now here to stay, thanks to PepsiCo adding it to the snack lineup, alongside the new SunChips Honey BBQ flavor. And our burgers couldn’t be happier (or tastier).

Good thing, too, because fans were growing tired of trying to chase down the limited edition flavor that one Reddit thread described as, “Very smoky…with deep ridges” but “extremely hard to find.”

Ruffles Smokehouse BBQ chips are now available in stores nationwide and can be found in three different sizes: 8-ounce bags for $5.99, 2.25-ounce bags for $2.69, and 1-ounce bags for $0.50. While you don’t necessarily have to run out ASAP to buy them before they are gone like before, we still plan to hightail it to our nearest store. Just because it isn’t summer yet doesn't mean we can’t fool our tastebuds for the time being.
