If there’s one thing we know about club store goers, it’s that they’re serious about their warehouse. Whether that’s buying Kirkland Signature merch, decorating their home with Sam’s Club’s viral Enzo cabinet, or debating which food court actually has the best hot dog and soda deal, big box store shoppers have a lot of brand loyalty.

That loyalty is made abundantly clear when the store changes a product. Every few weeks, Costco shoppers claim the club store changed something, like its butter, chicken, and bacon, due to taste. While those customers are concerned about the product itself, Sam’s Club shoppers are more worried about their favorite products getting discontinued.

Recently, that happened in the bakery section when Sam’s Club replaced its eight-count Member’s Mark All Butter Cinnamon Roll with the new 10-count Member’s Mark Iced Cinnamon Rolls.

Sam's Club's New Cinnamon Rolls

A few weeks ago, Sam’s Club shoppers noticed that the individual iced cinnamon rolls were gone in favor of a new metal tin of heat-and-eat pull-apart cinnamon rolls. Customers immediately took to Reddit to lament the loss of the individual cinnamon rolls—especially after one user posted a photo of the new cinnamon rolls looking less than stellar.

“New cinnamon rolls are too small and there’s not enough icing. New version is 10 rolls for $8.99, same price as the previous version of 8 good-sized rolls with a ton of icing,” the Reddit user wrote.

Some users called out Sam’s for its official product listing, which featured a photo of a tin of cinnamon rolls with a small drizzle of icing.

“It even looks bad in the official corporate picture,” one comment reads.

“My Sam's Club has the naked ones. They look very dry,” another user wrote.

However, since the “naked” cinnamon rolls debacle in February, Sam’s Club has updated its product photo and ensured the bakery is producing cinnamon rolls loaded with creamy icing. With that small change, customers have been raving about the new cinnamon rolls.

“I’m excited about this change! These are a clear improvement with soft, slightly sweet dough, gooey cinnamon filling, and tangy icing. While not an exact Cinnabon dupe, they have a Cinnabon-esque vibe—just missing the butter,” Instagram’s @Samsclubfoodreview wrote in a caption, giving the new bakery treat a rating of nine out of 10.

Reactions may have started out mixed, but with the new-and-improved cinnamon rolls loaded with icing, customers are on board with the change.

“They are soooo delicious,” an Instagram user posted. “Just pop them in the microwave for like 13 seconds and they’re perfect.”

"These would not stand a chance at my house," wrote another.

The Member’s Mark Iced Cinnamon Rolls are available in Sam’s bakery section now for $8.98. Sam’s recommends warming the cinnamon rolls for the best experience, offering both microwave and oven heating instructions.

The gooey, pull-apart cinnamon rolls are here to stay, so whether you want an easy treat for Easter brunch or just a way to spice up your morning routine, Sam's Club's bakery is calling.
