A wheel of Boursin cheese—no matter if it’s the OG Garlic & Fine Herbs or limited-edition Rosemary & Black Garlic flavor—is a kitchen workhorse. From pasta dishes and chicken skillet dinners to dips and other delicious starters, there’s practically no end to what the creamy, herby cheese can do.
Even though Boursin remains a fan favorite among many home cooks to easily elevate any dish, the brand has kept it pretty simple over the years. Every so often Boursin releases a new flavor—it’s currently teasing a Lemon Dill as “coming soon” on its site—but there hasn’t been a new Boursin product in years. Four years to be exact, since it launched its Boursin Bites in 2021.
Boursin Bites are smaller, bite-sized pieces of Boursin that are perfect for snacking or adding to salads, topping pastas, or (my personal favorite) stuffing into crescent roll dough and baking. Now, Boursin is releasing its first innovation in years with new Boursin Crumbles.
Boursin Releases New Boursin Crumbles

Our beloved Boursin cheese is getting even more bite-sized with the introduction of crumbles—similar to blue cheese crumbles, goat cheese crumbles, and feta crumbles. The new Boursin Crumbles are ideal for adding a pop of flavor to salads, eggs, soups, and much more.
Boursin is releasing its cheese crumbles in two flavors: classic Garlic & Fine Herbs and Caramelized Onion & Herbs. The OG Garlic & Fine Herbs flavor is Boursin’s signature blend of garlic, parsley, and chives. While its Caramelized Onion & Herbs, which it added to the permanent lineup after a successful limited run in 2021, is a savory blend of cheese, onions, and herbs.
The new Boursin Crumbles are hitting shelves now at multiple retailers across the nation, including Publix, Albertsons, Sprouts, and Hannaford, with each four-ounce container of crumbles priced at about $5.99. Boursin says it has plans to expand the crumbles’ availability later this year.
Boursin’s newest innovation makes a great fridge staple for those people who love the creamy cheese’s signature flavor, but don’t want to use a whole wheel for every recipe. Now, whenever you want the burst of tangy, herby, savory flavors, you can just sprinkle a few crumbles of Boursin onto any dish, any time.
