Rold Gold launched a new line of zesty pretzel twists, and each flavor is more exciting than the last.
The new line of kicked-up pretzel twists features Garlic Parmesan, Dill Pickle, Flamin’ Hot Honey Mustard, and the flavor everyone’s talking about, Cool Ranch. If that’s not an all-star snack lineup, we don’t know what is.
So far, we’ve only seen Rold Gold braided pretzels in the sweet Honey Wheat flavor. But now, with the introduction of the Rold Gold Selects line, it looks like the classic pretzel brand is expanding its savory portfolio—in premium style.
Now, what makes the Cool Ranch twists so exciting? Well, because Rold Gold is a FritoLay family member, just like Doritos, the oven-baked pretzels are getting the authentic Cool Ranch treatment, coated with the same spicy, tangy, totally delicious flavor as your favorite Cool Ranch chips.
It’s like getting the best of both snacks in one: the satisfying crunch of a pretzel with the unmistakable kick of Cool Ranch seasoning. They’re "flavorful, twisty, and crunchy," the package reads—and bound to disappear by the bowlful.
FritoLay originally soft-launched its new Rold Gold Selects pretzels as a Kroger exclusive in 2024. Now, the pretzels are gaining a spot in its permanent lineup and coming to stores nationwide—with the new addition of Flamin' Hot Honey Mustard.
Just like the Cool Ranch twists, the spicy, mustard-flavored pretzels utilize the same Flamin’ Hot seasoning you know and love from the Cheetos, Doritos, and Fritos collections. With the added honey mustard flavor, these sweet, savory, Flamin’ Hot pretzels are sure to be a hit.
Over the past few months, Kroger customers have left rave reviews for the Rold Gold Selects pretzels, calling them “absolutely amazing” and the “best tasting pretzels ever.” However, many customers mention that the pretzels are hard to find and seemingly out of stock a lot.
With the nationwide launch rolling out now, fans will hopefully have an easier time finding the delicious snack. And, considering Rold Gold has already added a new Flamin' Hot mashup to the line, the chances that we'll see even more snack creations featuring our favorite FritoLay flavors feel pretty likely.
