How are things looking in your kitchen cabinets right now? Is everything neat and organized, and stored to maximize freshness?
Some of us have everything under control in the pantry, but others could use a little help. However, food storage containers can be expensive, especially our favorites in this department— the Oxo Good Grips Pop Containers. We love them because they’re practical, have a great seal, and keep things in order.
This week, Aldi is offering containers similar to Oxo's perfect pantry organizational item, but for less.
Aldi’s Crofton Clear Food Storage Containers
Food storage containers help extend the life of flour, sugar, grains, rice, dried beans, and more by locking in freshness. A clear design helps you quickly spot an ingredient when you’re gathering your mise en place for a recipe and also helps identify when something is running low. Additionally, some containers are stackable, which saves space.
We’re big fans of Oxo’s 4.5-quart clear cereal dispenser. It’s great for keeping cereal fresh longer than in an open box—but it’s $25.99. At Aldi this week, a 5.25-quart Crofton cereal container is just $7.99, which means you can buy three for the price of one Oxo container (and it’s larger).

For the same price, Aldi also has a 2-pack of stackable, Crofton clear containers in a smaller size that are available in rectangular and oval shapes. All of Crofton’s containers have airtight snap lids that provide a good seal, and they are top-rack dishwasher safe.
These food storage containers, as well as some Crofton glass containers with metal lids, go on sale March 19 in the Aldi Finds aisle and will be available for just one week, or until sold out. So, grab a few of these and you’ll be saying goodbye to partially used torn packaging—and wasting less food as a result. Plus, you’ll be able to better manage your ingredients by seeing if it’s time to add panko to your shopping list.
