When we think of Easter celebrations, certain staples immediately come to mind—spiral hams, hand-dyed hard-boiled eggs, and a candy aisle overflowing with seasonal favorites. From Reese’s Eggs to Twizzlers Bunnies, Easter brings an annual hunt for festive treats. But beyond the traditional chocolates and latest Peeps products, there’s one store-bought essential that has become a must-have for nearly every holiday: Pillsbury’s Ready-to-Bake sugar cookies.
No matter the season—Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving—these nostalgic cookies always seem to make an appearance. While it took Pillsbury a while to roll out their iconic seasonal shapes for spring, they’ve quickly become an Easter staple.
However, if you’ve ever tried to track them down, you know they’re not always easy to find. Fans have reported that these pre-sliced sugar cookies often sell out fast, with TikTokers only fueling the craze by finding new and creative ways to use them.
Costco Now Carries Pillsbury Spring Cookies
So, when we heard Costco is now stocking these sought-after cookies, we had to share the news. For the first time, the warehouse giant is carrying Pillsbury’s Spring Shape cookie collection—a festive pack featuring both pink bunny and yellow baby chick designs.
And because this is Costco, you won’t just get a standard pack. The bulk-sized bundle includes a whopping 60 cookies—40 Bunnies and 20 Chicks—ensuring you have plenty for Easter gatherings (and even more for late-night snacks). Even better, if you’re tempted to sneak bites of raw cookie dough, you can now do so safely. Pillsbury’s read-to-bake dough is made with heat-treated flour and pasteurized eggs, so it’s safe to eat straight from the package.
Whether you’re 4 or 84, these classic sugar cookies are a surefire hit. With their soft, chewy texture and signature vanilla flavor, they’re impossible to resist. “These are adorable and delicious! I made a batch with my kids and they devoured them!” one customer raved.
Spotted at Costco locations in the Northwest and Northeast, these festive treats are priced at $7.99 at most warehouses. While availability may be limited to select regions for now, we’re hoping they roll out nationwide before Easter weekend. And if you’re worried about having 60 cookies to get through before April 20, don’t be—fans say they freeze well, making them perfect for stashing until the off-season when you’re craving a nostalgic treat.
That being said, we might not have to suffer through the long stretch between Spring cookies and the ever-popular Halloween Pumpkins anymore. With the brand already dropping two unexpected limited-edition designs this year—one inspired by Minecraft and another celebrating March Madness—2025 is shaping up to be a banner year for Pillsbury cookie collections.
