In a partnership that feels like a snack-time fever dream come true, Pop-Tarts has teamed up with the Girl Scouts of the USA to launch two never-before-seen flavors of toaster pastries. So, if you’re already dreading the Girl Scout cookie dry spell between selling seasons, we have great news.
Every year, Girl Scout cookie season is a nationwide craze, with fans rushing to stock up before their favorites disappear. But lately, the Girl Scouts have been expanding beyond the cookie box—first making a debut in the Wendy’s drive-thru, and now teaming up with Pop-Tarts for the very first time.
Rumors about the collaboration have been circulating since January, leaving fans eagerly awaiting confirmation. “Anyone have any idea when the Girl Scout Cookie Pop-Tarts will appear on shelves? The whole pastry is topped off with a smooth layer of caramel and chocolate frosting.
And then there’s Pop-Tarts Frosted Thin Mint, which delivers the cool, chocolatey flavor we all know and love. This version features a cocoa-flavored pastry crust filled with mint chocolate-flavored filling and topped with a smooth chocolate frosting—basically a Thin Mint in breakfast form.
Most fans are just excited to try them, but some longtime Pop-Tarts lovers are hoping for a little nostalgia too. “I’m really hoping the Thin Mint one will be like the mint chocolate chip one from the early 2000s. Been missing that one ever since,” one commenter added.
