As the weather is starting to warm up, we find ourselves craving the sunshine and a cool ice cream treat more and more. While we may have to wait a few more weeks for more sunny days (April showers, after all), our ice cream run doesn’t have to.
With so many ice cream shops out there, it can be hard to choose your next stop. But with Häagen-Dazs’ latest announcement, our decision just got a little easier.
Häagen-Dazs Shops are adding a brand-new sundae-style dessert to menus for a limited time this spring. From now through June 14, you can try the new Salted Brown Butter Cookie Dazzler at Häagen-Dazs’ scoop shops across the country.

The indulgent Dazzler, which is Häagen-Dazs’ take on an ice cream sundae, features the luxurious new Salted Brown Butter Cookie flavor with rich chocolate toppings, crunchy cookies, and whipped cream. The Salted Brown Butter Cookie ice cream is layered with chocolate chip cookie pieces and hot fudge, then finished with a dollop of whipped cream and even more cookie pieces and gooey chocolate fudge.
In addition to the sweet-yet-savory, chocolatey, buttery new sundae, you’ll also be able to order Häagen-Dazs new Salted Brown Butter Cookie ice cream as a scoop in a cone or cup, as well as in a decadent milkshake.
The new limited-time Salted Brown Butter Cookie Dazzler will replace Häagen-Dazs’ three coffee milkshakes, which it introduced in February. But don’t worry, you’ll still be able to order the Coffee Chip Shake for an extra jolt of coffee-flavored ice cream.
And, even though Häagen-Dazs has more than 200 shops across the nation, we know that not every state is lucky enough to have one just yet. So, if your mouth is watering thinking about the Salted Brown Butter Cookie Dazzler and ice cream, you’re in luck because the brand is sending the flavor to grocery stores, too.
Häagen-Dazs recently released pints of Salted Brown Butter Cookie Ice Cream at grocery retailer locations across the country that stock Häagen-Dazs ice cream.
It’s not clear if the new brown butter-flavored ice cream with chocolate chips, cookie pieces, and salt will be part of Häagen-Dazs’ permanent pints line. However, it is nice to know that we can line our freezers with the decadent ice cream even after the Dazzler leaves shop menus in June.
