Dutch Bros is a vibe unlike any other coffee chain. Drinks are whimsical, weird, and wacky, from cereal-topped cold brew to upstaging an iconic McDonald’s shake. The Oregon-based brand doesn’t take itself too seriously. Coffee culture here is just fun, which is why you’ll find a long drive-thru line on certain Wednesdays. Fans in the know are waiting for something: a freebie.
There are several reasons to visit Dutch Bros right now, from the Spring Fever Dream menu to the return of a beloved syrup giving Starbucks a run for its money. But you should definitely swing by Dutch Bros on the first Wednesday of the month and arrive as early as you can.
Free Limited-Edition Stickers at Dutch Bros
It’s called a Sticker Drop. And Sticker Drops happen on the first Wednesday of the month. Why Wednesday? According to Dutch Bros, it’s to give you “a midweek pick-me-up.” On Sticker Drop day, you can get one free sticker with any drink purchase. But it’s only while supplies last. And be warned: Fans collect them like Beanie Babies.
Rare stickers pop up on eBay for hundreds of dollars. Or you can buy a curated lot of stickers for a cool $250. One fan commented on a recent Sticker Drop Instagram post and said, “My sticker collection will be on ‘Antiques Roadshow’ in 100 years from now.”
These are high-quality stickers. Think OG Lisa Frank. And they're often community-designed and community-voted. It's a whole scene full of cheeky coffee puns and designs that just make you smile, laugh, or wrinkle your nose. This month's sticker celebrated the Pickleback Rebel, an energy drink with pickle juice, and the pickle-themed sticker was a scratch-and-sniff that, yes, smelled just like a dill pickle.
Sticker Drops have become such a thing that Dutch Bros even teases the shape of each month's release on Instagram just so fans can have fun guessing the new design. And these posts usually provide a clue or two on the new sticker's theme. It's worth following the brand on social as Bonus Sticker Drops do happen occasionally (and always on a Wednesday) with very little warning.
One fan’s reaction to a recent Bonus Sticker Drop says it all. “I wasn’t gonna make the hour trip to Dutch tomorrow since I went today, but maybe I will now,” they commented on Instagram.
