If you were the kind of kid who always got a fruity, frozen Icee that turned your tongue blue and red at the movie theater, or, nowadays, you wait all year for 7-Eleven’s Bring Your Own Cup Day to fill a bucket with your favorite Slurpee flavor, then you’ll want to listen up. While Chick-fil-A is only now testing a frozen, frosted soda, Burger King has been selling its version of slushy Coca-Cola for years.
Since its Frozen Coke—and the secret menu Frozen Coke Float—is a chain success, BK has been releasing more and more frosty beverage offerings. In 2023, it released its Frozen Fanta Kickin’ Mango as a way to cool your mouth down from Spicy Chicken Fries and Fiery Nuggets. Then, in 2024, Burger King dropped two more limited-edition frozen beverages: the Frozen Pink Lemonade and Cotton Candy Cloud Drink, which was topped with a milky foam.
Now, Burger King is releasing an all-new frozen beverage just in time for summer—and it features another unique topper.
Burger King Launches Frozen Fanta Strawberry & Nerds Beverage

Burger King is now selling a Frozen Fanta Strawberry & Nerds drink. The new beverage turns Fanta’s sweet strawberry-flavored soda into a slushy treat. Then, for an added kick of sweetness, a punch of tanginess, and textural contrast, you can add crunchy Nerds candy to the top of the frozen drink.
Believe it or not, this isn’t the first time Nerds candy has graced a fast food menu. Sonic has been offering Nerds as a mix-in to its drinks for years.
“Oh dang, Sonic has some competition,” one Instagram user commented on an Instagram post teasing the drinks.
However, while Sonic’s Nerds-filled drinks have the candy mixed throughout, Burger King’s new Frozen Fanta Strawberry & Nerds drink will feature a layer of candy on top—so you can spoon the drink and candies out or mix it up for Nerds flavor in every sip.
The new Frozen Fanta Strawberry drink, with or without Nerds, is on Burger King’s menu now, where it will be available for a limited time. And this deal gets even sweeter!
