-
18 pitted dates
-
1 (5.2 ounce) package gournay cheese, such as Boursin® Shallot & Chive Flavor
-
1/2 cup slivered almonds, coarsely crumbled
-
2 ounces prosciutto, diced
-
drizzle of honey
-
fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment. Place Boursin in a bowl and let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Set aside a small amount of almonds and prosciutto for garnish; add almonds and prosciutto to the bowl and mix well by hand.
Make a slit in each date lengthwise, without cutting all the way through and leaving ends intact. Use your fingers to gently open the date. Use a small melon baller to scoop some of Boursin mixture and place inside the date. Place dates on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven until hot and bubbly, 20 to 30 minutes.
Remove from oven, drizzle with honey, and garnish with almonds, prosciutto, and fresh parsley.
