Key Takeaways

  • Costco is selling a new summer entertaining staple that has us running to the warehouse store.
  • The $22 kitchenware item looks like it should cost way more, and will keep your friends and family hydrated all summer long.

Are you itching to start summer entertaining? We are just about a month away from the unofficial start of the season—Memorial Day weekend—which stirs up visions of BBQ chicken, swimming pools, and tall glasses of thirst-quenching drinks.

And, rather than have a heavy pitcher of iced tea (regular or the Long Island variety) to pass around, a drink dispenser on a nearby table is a smart idea. Right now, Costco has one that’s elevated (in both senses of the word), and it’ll come in handy all summer long.

Costco’s Glass Drink Dispenser With Acacia Wood Base

Have you ever looked at a drink dispenser in a home goods store and thought, “This would be great for when I have people over?” Then, you notice the spigot is plastic and imagine it breaking off after a few uses.

You don’t have to worry about that with this version we spotted at Costco, in stores now for just $21.99. On Instagram, @Costcohotfinds gave followers a peek at the Studio Tu Drink Glass Drink Dispenser with Acacia Wood Stand. Its stainless steel spigot appears more durable—but that’s not the only feature making it a top-notch choice.

The dispenser rests on an attractive stand made out of acacia, a wood that is popular at the moment, but is also timeless. Its lid is made of acacia, too. The body is constructed of glass, and together, the piece is "beautiful" according to @Costcohotfinds’ followers.

In terms of volume, the dispenser holds two gallons, which is perfect for a long afternoon of hydration. Some mentioned filling it with infused water; that sounds like a great choice, but we think it would also work well for lemonade, fruit punch, sangria, or a big batch of margaritas.

At such a great price, perhaps you can pick up two and offer guests a choice of ice-cold beverages at your next backyard bash. With BBQ season upon us, you’d might want to make a Costco run before the shelves are empty.
