Recently, Culture Pop, a probiotic soda brand, tapped into a nostalgic flavor with the launch of its Grape Soda, satisfying our craving for the beloved fruity, fizzy drink in a grown-up variation. But it’s not the only one giving those ’90s feels.
Now, editor-loved brand SunSip is the latest in the "better-for-you" movement to bring its own version of the popular flavor to shelves. It's sure to be a summertime sipper that will make us feel like kids all over again—without the added sugar rush.

SunSip Is Releasing a New Grape Flavor Soda
If you haven’t yet heard of SunSip, let us introduce you. It was launched in 2024 by the popular Health-Ade label, known for its probiotic kombucha products. Our Allrecipes editors have been drinking it up since.
SunSip prides itself on offering gut-healthy bubbles in tasty variations like Root Beer, Raspberry Lemonade, Cherry Cola, and its newest flavor, Peach. Soon, the brand is adding a brand new Grape flavor to its “soda with benefits” portfolio—and we can’t wait to try it. Editor Andrea Lobas already loves the Peach and Cherry Cola flavors but is certain this will take the top spot once it hits shelves. “SunSip does a perfect job of giving soda satisfaction without the same, traditional sugary effects. The flavors are always fresh and bright, leaving me wanting more. So, of course, I’m excited to try Grape—the most underrated soda flavor of all time. I’ll be sipping this all summer, I’m sure.”

There’s a New Soda Coming to Shelves From One of Our Favorite Brands
SunSip’s Grape offers all the juicy flavor we once loved as a kid with just 35 calories and 5 grams of sugar per can. It’s naturally sweetened with fruit juice, monk fruit, and organic cane sugar and is packed with prebiotics, vitamins C, B6, and B12, as well as minerals zinc and selenium.
The latest Grape flavor joins the summer-inspired lineup that includes Health-Ade’s Orange Creamsicle Kombucha, a flavor that is “TOP TIER” according to fans. As one put it, “saw it on the shelf and fell to my knees in Whole Foods.” It also joins Mango Lemonade Kombucha, which was deemed the “best flavor” by many online.
SunSip’s Grape prebiotic soda is available now online at sunsip.com and in Target stores nationwide before it expands to additional retailers later this summer. Crack open a can under the warm sun, and get ready to relive those childhood vibes all season long.
